Monopoly Run

We gave the Explorers a train ticket, and a mission to visit as many places as possible on the Isle of Wight Monopoly Board between Ryde and Shanklin, as well as a few additional places, and also to make an Osbourne House sand castle...

Of course no board game based japery is complete without a random squidgy toy mascot.... Ducky and Colin (I dont know why they called it Colin) had a wonderful time being photographed along the route... More photos on Facebook as always.

Sea Scouts... Be afraid, Ducky knows where you live... Colin at the Tower of London. Wait... I mean Appley Tower

Ducky loves Indoor Heated Swimming Pools. And Ballrooms.                    Colin doesn't mess with swans.....

Duckys Fort, No Entry..... Argh, golf balls.....                                          But he aint afraid of no Bull Statue.....

Sea Scouts..... Ducky Is Watching You.....                                            Because he can fly..... sort of.....

Relaunch & Mass Investiture

We recently gained a new management team and lots of shiny new members... So obviously, a Re-Launch and Mass Investiture was called for... We decided to do it amongst the fossils at Dinosaur Island to symbolise the old and the new. Or something like that... But a good time was had by all, and everyone got invested infront of an Iguanadon. Well, it might have been, I dont think anyone actually checked....

As always theres more photos and videos on the Facebook Group:

Its tiring being a cuddly toy.... Yawn...                        Dont Mess... Oh, wait, its just bones. Mess all you want...

Someones left their plaster cast dinosaur bone on the beach                I honestly dont know what to say.....

On My Honour... I Promise To Do My Best....            Psst.... Whats the next bit? Us leaders are all old and senile...

Ready Steady Tank

We thought about doing a Ready Steady Cook night. Then we thought it would be better with Tanks...

As always there's more on Facebook, including Videos... See the link on the right in the Contact Details.

Ready... Steady... Wait, let me get my head inside...         Who cares if our guns dont work? The faces are scary...

Where are you going? NO NOT THAT WAY...                         Yes, this cardboard should protect us fully...

I TOLD you not to go that way....                                                            No Comment...

New Forest Camp

Over October 2009 half term, the unit decided to go camping at Ferny Crofts Activity Centre in the New Forest. We did archery, raft building (and tipping...), climbing, zipwire, high ropes, crate stacking, mountain biking, swimming, and an epic hour and a half journey to Tescos to get some playing cards...

All the photos are on Facebook (see right), but a sample of photos are below...

Who shall we push in first?                         Its far too much effort to climb it. Lets just lean against it

I TOLD you we should glue them together....                                         MUMMMMMMYYYYYY....

I can see my house... Oh, wait, its a tent...                                         Horses. Just Horses.

Food is good.....                                                                But the bikes were rubbish.
