Isle of Wight Smugglers Network - By us, For us!!

The Smugglers Network is the only group on the island for 18-25 year olds. We offer the chance to continue your Scouting experience, learn new, transferable skills which will enhance your CV and meet new people. Our regular meetings are once a month in Newport. However, we also participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award and other social events, including various camps such as Isle of Wight Revolution, County Scout Camp and Beaveree.

Your 18th Birthday marks the point at which you move on from Explorers. At this point there are various pathways you could choose.

·        Network

·        Adult Leadership

·        Scout Active Support Unit

·        DofE / Queen Scout Award

·        Or

·        A Mix Of All 4

Network has recently undergone a re-structure where members can be part of Project Groups, depending on what your interests are. You can be part of 1,2,3,4 or even none of the project groups!

Everyone who is a member of the Scout Association who is between 18-25 is automatically a Network member. We opporate a 'Free To Join, Pay To Play' system.

Should you choose to leave the island you can remain linked with Smugglers whilst joining a local Network
