Setting: In corner of village field, near to the famous Godshill thatched cottages and cream teas.

Inside: Spacious hall with tables & chairs, small screened area suitable to sleep girls / leaders. Well equipped, cub friendly kitchen with catering size cooker, microwave, fridge, eating and cooking utensils. Small room off entrance could sleep 2-3 leaders. male, female & disabled toilets and wash basins. Use of two man tents, 2 patrol and 1 mess tent, roll mats, various indoor games.

Outside: Large car park, plenty of room for tents. Safe surrounding fence, wildlife pond, campfire circle with benches, and wood for burning. Area to make patrol fires for cooking.

Beyond: outside HQ is the village field with swings, slide, climbing frames and goal posts. A few minutes walk is the village with a Spar shop, two pubs with pub grub, tourist attractions & beech copse for wide games. Foot paths & bridle roads lead from HQ, and across the road to all over the Island. Few yards up the road is a bridle road suitable for cycling and 1 mile on leading to the cycle track network. Five minutes walk to lovely old C of E church, also a chapel.

Ventnor Beach: With lifeguard, is 20 minutes drive, or 2 minutes walk to No3 bus every 30 minutes to Ventnor, Shanklin, Sandown & Ryde, or the other way to Newport for a change to all parts of the Island.

Available for hire for some weeks & weekends in the schools holidays. Available for hire at other times, especially during the day and at weekends. Fantastic for sleepovers, Donations of £2.50per head per day.
