Duke of Kent launches Corf Development Fund

On 10th May, HRH The Duke of Kent attended a luncheon at Haseley Manor, courtesy of Anthony & Vivian Roberts.  The meal was organised by Scout Active Support members and other Leaders.  As President of the Scout Association, the Duke launched the Corf Development Fund for the replacement of the delapidated buildings at our Island Camp Site.

Before joining 75 paying guests, the Duke of Kent viewed a display of activities by Island Scouts, who had managed to arrange time off from school.

The event raised about £4000 for the Development Fund.
