Scouts from across the Island regularly help out at a session known as MADACT – (Maintenance And Development At Corf Team), where they work to keep our County Campsite in excellent condition.

Corf Campsite relies on volunteers to keep the site maintained. The MADACT team assist the campsite warden, Barry, and help when more hands are needed – not only that, it’s a fantastic opportunity to complete the Volunteering section of a Duke of Edinburgh’s award.

This time, the team cleared paths, cut down some trees, and trimmed hedges.

“Brilliant day, I really enjoyed myself ?
Thanks to all for coming, I will be back again next month and hopefully with some more helpers! I would recommend it to others ?”

– Victoria Lawton, County Youth Commissioner
