On Saturday 25th August 2018, Northwood House will be the venue for the Isle of Wight Scouts Giant Teddy Bears Picnic, from 2pm to 5pm. Absolutely Everyone on the Island is welcome to come along, just bring one or more Teddy Bears and a Picnic and join us for an afternoon of fun and games.
There will be a small admission charge – The afternoon will be to raise funds for IW Scouts, Northwood House and Children In Need, so we would ask for a minimum donation of £2 for everyone attending.

There’ll be plenty to do and we make one request – any Scout group or section attending should bring a fundraising activity, so there’s even more for our Young People and our visitors to do.

So go on, dig out those old Teddies in the attic, grab your family, friends, car rug and a picnic and come and have one last adventure at the end of the Summer Holidays! There’ll be prizes to win, VIPs to meet and LOADS OF FUN!
There’s a car park (£4 per car) in the grounds of the House, look for our signs. If you have mobility issues please tell our car park staff.
Message to any Leaders, Explorers or Network members: We still need some more helpers, please.
Can leaders bring a Hi-Viz please.
If you’re bringing equipment you can drive along the access path – maximum 10mph with Hazzard lights on.
